Trauma can be a single, major event or a prolonged experience like childhood neglect, attachment challenges, persistent social stress, or community violence. What matters is the impact it had on you. In our sessions, YOU decide what we explore as we gently unpack the past and build a new, stronger future.
In our work together, we'll build a safe and trusting relationship where you can explore who you are today and what shaped you. We'll gently uncover how past experiences have influenced your sense of self, relationship with your emotions and your physical body, and the coping strategies that have protected you along the way. From there, we'll work collaboratively to evolve your sense of self so it fully reflects your current values and goals.

Together, we'll gently work to transform those overwhelming reactions into a sense of safety and inner calm, helping you find your way back to your most authentic self.

If depression has made it hard to feel safe or in control of your own emotions, a trauma-informed approach can help. Our sessions are built on the principles of safety, choice, and collaboration, ensuring you are always the one in the driver's seat of your healing journey. We'll gently explore the life events that have contributed to your depression and build skills for emotional regulation, healthy coping, and restoring your sense of power over your own life.
